Collection of Personal Information
When you engage in certain activities on the Site such as downloading whitepapers or joining email lists, CopperGate may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities, however, CopperGate may ask that you provide us personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address (including zip code), e-mail address, employer, job title and department, telephone and facsimile numbers and other personal identifying information. Depending upon the activity, some of the information that we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in such activity.
In the process of administering the Site, we maintain and track usage through web server logs. Web server logs provide such information as what types of browsers are accessing the Site, what pages receive high traffic, and the times of day our servers experience significant load. We use this information to improve the content and navigation features of the Site. It is not used to personally identify you.

Do We Share Your Personal Information?

In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Moreover, if CopperGate, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that CopperGate goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, customer information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of CopperGate may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
Reprinting Personal Information
Please note that any information you post to a public or member bulletin board or chat room is available to all persons accessing the Site.
